Advocates for Car & Truck Accident Victims Who Can’t Afford Mistakes
A serious car or truck crash doesn’t end at the scene. It may impact your life for years. We’ve spent decades fighting for car and truck accident victims, and brain injury survivors who face that reality every day. When a reckless driver hits you, Smith Law Center HITS BACK, delivering results in Virginia and across all 50 states.
Celebrating 78 Years of Helping People
When firm founder Joseph Smith started the Smith Law Center in 1949, it was with the simple philosophy of helping the injured. A native of Newport News, Smith began with the express purpose of providing quality legal representation to victims of negligence. 78 years later, his sons Stephen and Howard Smith along with Stewart Gill and David Holt own and operate the firm under the same guiding principles.
The Smith Law Center is currently the largest personal injury law firm on the peninsula and one of the largest in Virginia. We represent victims or serious accidents, explosions, and the complex litigation of Traumatic Brain Injury, from concussions to comas, and even the loss of a loved one.
The attorneys at the Smith Law Center continue a legacy of service by putting the welfare of their clients first, protecting their rights through caring and aggressive representation. Hard work, honesty, and integrity are reflected in each member of the Smith Law Center team.
